How We Earn Revenue
NoShamePantry contains affiliate links. This means that when you click on certain product links on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. This comes at no additional cost to you -- the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.
This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).
Our Affiliate Partnerships
We currently participate in the following affiliate programs:
- Amazon Associates -- NoShamePantry is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
- Walmart Affiliate Program -- we earn commissions on qualifying purchases made through links to Walmart.com.
We may add additional affiliate partnerships in the future. This page will be updated to reflect any new programs.
Our Editorial Independence
Affiliate relationships never influence our recommendations. Here is how we ensure that:
- We recommend products based on value, quality, and usefulness for building a pantry -- not on which products earn us the highest commission
- Our editorial team selects products independently. Affiliate links are added after editorial decisions are made, not before
- We regularly recommend store-brand and generic products that carry no affiliate commission at all, because they are often the best value
- If a product is not good, we will not recommend it regardless of the affiliate opportunity
How to Identify Affiliate Links
Affiliate links on NoShamePantry are accompanied by a disclosure notice. You will see language such as "This site earns from qualifying purchases. This never affects our recommendations." near product recommendations and on pages that contain affiliate links.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
Running NoShamePantry costs money -- servers, development, content creation, and more. Affiliate commissions help us keep the site free for everyone. We chose affiliate revenue over intrusive advertising because it aligns better with our mission: we only earn when we help you find products that are actually worth buying.
Your Choice
You are never obligated to use our affiliate links. If you prefer, you can navigate directly to the retailer's website to make your purchase. We appreciate when you do use our links, as it helps support the site, but we respect your choice either way.
