
Cinnamon Oatmeal
Hot, filling, and ready in under ten minutes from shelf-stable ingredients. The base recipe costs about thirty cents and you can dress it up a dozen ways.
Ingredients
- •1/2 cup rolled oats
- •1 cup water
- •2 tbsp powdered milk
- •1 tbsp granulated sugar
- •1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions

Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small pot.

Stir in the oats and reduce heat to medium-low.

Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and the water is absorbed.

Remove from heat. Stir in the powdered milk, sugar, and cinnamon.
