Tuna Noodle Casserole
Canned tuna, pasta, and whatever vegetables you have on the shelf, stretched into a hot meal that feeds four for about six bucks total.
Total: 35 min
Ingredients
- •2 cans chunk light tuna, drained
- •8 oz spaghetti, broken into pieces
- •1 can peas, drained
- •1 cup chicken broth
- •1 tbsp vegetable oil
- •Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). If you are cooking without power, this works in a covered pot on low heat too.
- 2
Cook the pasta according to package directions until just barely al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 3
In a large oven-safe pot or baking dish, combine the drained tuna, peas, and cooked pasta.
- 4
Pour the chicken broth over everything and drizzle with vegetable oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- 5
Stir gently to combine.
- 6
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes to let the top dry out slightly.
- 7
Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
