
Fried Spam Sandwich
Slice it thin, fry it hot, and put it on bread with mustard. Fried Spam is salty, crispy, and better than you think it is.
Ingredients
- •4 slices Spam, cut 1/4 inch thick
- •2 slices bread
- •1 tbsp yellow mustard
- •1 tsp vegetable oil
Instructions

Slice the Spam into even slabs, about 1/4 inch thick. You want 4 slices for a proper sandwich.

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

Lay the Spam slices in the pan. Do not move them. Let them cook 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and slightly crispy.

Flip and cook another 2 minutes on the other side.

While the Spam cooks, spread mustard on one or both slices of bread.

Stack the fried Spam on the bread, close it up, and eat.
